Rainbow Coast 2026

Once again our premier event of the year is taking place, the annual Rainbow Coast Fishing Competition. The event will be held on the weekend of 17th and 18th January 2026. Competitors can register at Ocean View Function Centre from 11:00am on Saturday, with a mandatory briefing for all anglers at 1:00pm.

Boundaries for this event are any location along the coast, beach or rocky headland, between Mutton Bird Island, Albany and Blue Holes Beach, Nornalup.

There are prizes available across a wide range of categories. Cash prizes for heaviest scale fish, heaviest skin fish as well as the heaviest Skippy, Tailor, King George and Flathead plus a range of prizes that have been donated by local businesses for our champion anglers and the runners up.

The weigh in for the event will be held at Ocean View Function Centre at 12:00pm on Sunday 18th January. A sausage sizzle and drinks are provided by the angling club. Presentation of prizes will follow the weigh in.

ALL ANGLERS MUST HAVE THEIR CATCH IN A SUITABLE CONTAINER, WITH THEIR TAG UNDER THE GAZEBO PRIOR TO THE 12:00PM DEADLINE. (No exceptions)
