ABOUT THE CLUB

The Denmark Boating and Angling Club (DBAC) is located at Ocean Beach. As one of the oldest fishing clubs in Western Australia still running, it has a strong membership. There are monthly fishing weekends held, with both open events and closed beach events. Several trips away per year ensure that members are able to fish in a variety of locations, weather conditions and catch a wide variety of fish. The DBAC has outstanding facilities both in Denmark and at Parry’s Beach.

Located 30 kilometres from Denmark, at Parry’s Beach, the campsite is available to active members of the club via a locked gate. Members without a key can camp if there is a key holder in attendance. Keys to this campsite are managed by the committee and members wishing to use the grounds must seek access through the committee. The facility has a large shed, hot water system, kitchen facility, water tanks, generator and good camping amongst the Peppermint Trees.

THE SLIPWAY

The slipway next to the Denmark River road bridge in the centre of Denmark is part of the DBAC, and has a long history. This is the location for the monthly beach field day briefings, unless other arrangements are made due to a trip away.
